2025 National Meet Update.
Four of our National Meet Committee members travelled to Tamworth on the 14th March to make final arrangements with the Meet Headquarters Hotel for our Thursday and Friday Events.
Please note that entry into the Thursday evening Mingle is part of the cost for the night. If you haven't paid the extra cost for the Thursday Mingle you will not be able to attend or access the venue site.
They also sorted the final details for our Saturday and Sunday Events with the West Tamworth Leagues Club and Tamworth Regional Council.
Fingers crossed that all will go as planned, but based on the history of some previous National Meets we can only hope and pray.
We are enthusiastic to report that we had 108 registrations for our National Meet, but unfortunately, we have
had nine cancellations bringing it back to ninety-nine. We are very pleased with this result brought about by our hard-working National Meet Committee.
One of our main goals at this National Meet is to raise some funds for Ronald McDonald House, which is a place for parents and families to stay and receive support close to the hospital where their children are being treated for Cancer. RMH Volunteers will be present at the Park on Saturday where our Display Day is being held. They will be walking around with collection boxes, so please give generously to this worthy Organisation. We will also be making a donation to RMH after the Meet, so please dig deep into your pockets when bidding for items at our live and silent auctions on Saturday and Sunday nights.
The more we raise, the more we can donate towards making life a little better for those unfortunate enough to have children suffering from this hideous disease.
